01 challenge

Working in a fast-paced retail environment meant navigating quick turnarounds, frequent updates, and the need to adapt quickly to shifting priorities. Additionally, entering the coffee community required building product knowledge and understanding the culture of specialty coffee to connect with a passionate audience.

02  approach

I drew from competitor research and design insights gathered over the years, using established design systems as a foundation while adapting them to fit specific campaigns. Collaboration was key: I worked closely with the photography and copywriting teams to ensure a unified aesthetic and storytelling approach across digital channels.

03 results & reflection

Through consistent design execution, I helped increase click-through rates in email campaigns and contributed to stronger brand cohesion across platforms. By pairing my designs with engaging photography and copy, the team was able to deliver marketing that not only resonated with existing customers but also enhanced the overall brand aesthetic.

This project deepened my understanding of the specialty coffee community and strengthened my ability to work under fast-moving conditions. By combining adaptability with a strong design foundation, I was able to create marketing that supported both immediate sales goals and long-term brand growth.
